CSU – CAHS Dean cited 2015 Most Outstanding Med Tech by PRC

by: Salvador S.Battung Jr.

There’s this oxymoron which says:  “People have one thing in common: they are all different.”  Yet, someone in Cagayan State University proves to be much different that he stands tall among his colleagues.  A multi – awarded professional in his field of specialization, he has emerged as the person to beat in terms of track record on quality performance in his trade and accolades received. That man is the one and only DR. JULIUS T. CAPILI, Dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences.

Just recently, Dr. Capili has once again received another award as MOST OUTSTANDING MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONAL, this time, from the Professional Regulations Commission, for his exemplary professional, social and service contributions to the community at large as attested by the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET) Inc., the same organization that nominated him for the much sought after award.  Dr. Capili personally received the award last June 18, 2015 at the Manila Hotel during the PRC’s 42ndAnniversary Celebration.

Just six months ago, Dr. Capili had received from PAMET the National Award as MOST OUTSTANDING MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST for his display of dynamic leadership to his school and to the association, for his vibrant and relentless efforts in bringing pride, honor and fame to PAMET, and for being an inspiration to Medical Technologists. The award was given on December 1, 2014 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila.

Having produced and published quality researches in national journals and even presented one in an international forum at the Manila Hotel, Dr. Capili was also conferred by PAMET the prestigious CRISANTO ALMARIO AWARD for RESEARCH in August 10, 2012.

A prolific and dynamic leader, Dr. Capili was, likewise, named MOST OUTSTANDING REGIONAL DIRECTOR by PAMET in December 3, 2010.

With such a record of the outstanding feats of no less than the Dean himself, it is no wonder that he has steered the College of Allied Health Sciences to its current status being the flagship college of Cagayan State University.  He has led the College in achieving a streak of seven consecutive 100% passing marks in the Medical Technology Board Exams. Topping it all, he has directed CSU – CAHS to become the Top Performing Medical Technology School of the Philippines in 2013, and Top 4 Performing Medical Technology School of the Philippines in 2014.
